1 shot in possible road rage in Northwest Harris County

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) A man was injured in a possible road rage shooting in northwest Harris County on Saturday.
The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon on Highway 6 between West Road and Huffmeister.
Deputies said a man in a car shot at another car three times. Three people were in the car that was shot at, said HCSO.
One of the bullets hit the driver of the other car in his thigh, and he pulled into a nearby gas station to call for help, according to the Harris County Sheriff s Office.

Houston police searching for answers in death of 5-year-old

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) Houston police and a 5-year-old boy s family are asking for the public s help to find whoever knows what happened to the little boy just before he died.
Authorities say that around 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, David Niwamanya was playing on the playground in the 6100 block of Glenmont. David struggled to make it back to his home, and once he did, he was helped inside, where he fell unconscious.
David was rushed to the hospital, where he died. His death was due to inflicted trauma, officials say.
Houston police would not elaborate on his injuries but said they are unique and will be used as a tool in their investigation. ....
