A Kamsack resident charged with numerous property and weapon offences out of Indian Head, had another court date yesterday.
27-year-old Dustin Bowers pled guilty to Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over Five-Thousand Dollars, and Failure to Appear, and was handed an 873-day jail term.
RCMP say two people were being investigated for property crime offences that occurred in a rural area near the community on August 17th, and recovered a modified .22-calibre rifle classified as a prohibited firearm.
On August 20th, the Crown withdrew the charges against 26-year-old Jenna Miller. ....
