New Product Aims To Eliminate Job Site Waste

A new product is aiming to completely eliminate all the waste from building job sites.
PLAEX bricks are mortarless, reusable and made from over 90 per cent recycled items.
Founder and product developer Dustin Bowers of Hampstead, N.B., said the garbage in the building industry has always bugged him.
“It has been really exciting to develop this product and actually have something that is durable and long-lasting and we can remove all of the job site waste,” he said.
Bowers got the idea from a research paper where they were using shredded up plastic as an aggregate in concrete, cured with water. ....

Kamsack Man Pleads Guilty To Three Charges

A Kamsack resident charged with numerous property and weapon offences out of Indian Head, had another court date yesterday.
27-year-old Dustin Bowers pled guilty to Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over Five-Thousand Dollars, and Failure to Appear, and was handed an 873-day jail term.
RCMP say two people were being investigated for property crime offences that occurred in a rural area near the community on August 17th, and recovered a modified .22-calibre rifle classified as a prohibited firearm.
On August 20th, the Crown withdrew the charges against 26-year-old Jenna Miller. ....
