SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday ordered a major reshuffle in the administration.
According to a Government Order No.37 JK(GAD) of 2021 issued by the General Administration Department (GAD, Bhupinder Kumar, IAS (UK:2011), Mission Director, National Health Mission, J&K, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla.
Anshul Garg, IAS (JK:2013), Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag.
Choudhary Mohammad Yasin, IAS (JK:2015), Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, is transferred and posted as Mission Director, National Health Mission, J&K

Anantnag Admin Bans Public Movement For 'Non-Essential Activities' During Night Hours

GNS, reads (and observes) that “Whereas necessary precautions regarding prevention and control of Corona (COVID-19) infection have already been undertaken by the District administration in coordination with Police and Health authorities; and Whereas, COVID-19 has a pattern of transmission of rapid rate, in case prescribed prevention protocols including avoiding mass gathering and unnecessary movement etc. are not strictly followed (sic.).”
“Now, therefore, in view of the mentioned facts, I Kuldeep Krishan Sidha, KAS, District Magistrate, Anantnag in the exercise of the powers vested in me under Section 144 of CrPC do hereby impose a complete ban on movement of individuals for all non-essential activities between 10.00 PM to 05.00 AM in the District with immediate effect till further orders,” the order reads. ....
