VIROQUA –Students in Carissa Brudos’ first semester art and design class at De Soto High School had the opportunity to create designs for Wonderstate Coffee for a logo design challenge. Brudos said she wanted to incorporate real world art and marketing in students’ everyday lives, so she reached out to Wonderstate, which is based in Viroqua, with her idea of a logo design challenge. Brudos sent the designs to Wonderstate, where the winners were selected. Comments sought on North Fork Blackfoot River project
The Lolo National Forest is seeking comments on the North Fork Blackfoot River Native Fish Restoration Project, which is in the Scapegoat Wilderness in the Lolo National Forest and the Helena – Lewis and Clark National Forest, in Powell and Lewis and Clark counties.
The project, which is in the Seeley Lake and the Lincoln ranger districts, would authorize Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks to do fish management and stocking that would establish a secure population of native trout, replacing a hybrid population.

Highlights From First School Board Meeting Of 2021
LAPS News:
The Los Alamos School Board gathered virtually Tuesday evening for its first meeting of the new year Tuesday.
The first order of business at the meeting was to elect board members into officer positions.
After reviewing roles and responsibilities and considering those interested in serving as an officer the board casts its votes.
The following positions were filled:
Board President Melanie Colgan;
Board Secretary, Dawn Jalbert.
“I am honored and humbled to have been elected president of the Los Alamos Public School Board,” Colgan said. “I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead. I would also like to thank Ellen Ben-Naim for her service as board president for the past two years. Her strong dedication to the betterment and continued success of LAPS should be applauded.” ....
