A doctor and three nurses jumped into action when the emergency call came about halfway through the Delta flight from Salt Lake City to Honolulu.
âI ve experienced this before, and usually they re pretty clear asking if there is a doctor on board,â Dr. Dale Glenn said, according to a press release from Hawaiâi Pacific Health Family Medicine. âThis call was not like this, and it was fairly urgent. I let the flight attendant know that Iâm a physician, and she said, We have a woman having a baby, so I hurried over to see what I could do.â ....

Flight crew, doctor help woman deliver baby onboard IndiGo flight

A baby girl was born mid-air onboard IndiGo s Bengaluru-Jaipur flight (6E 469) on Wednesday morning. The baby was delivered with the help of the flight crew and assisted by a doctor who was also travelling on the same flight.
Jaipur airport was informed to arrange for a doctor and an ambulance on arrival for the woman and the baby.
Both the baby and mother are stable. Dr. Subahana Nazir who was also travelling on the flight and helped the delivery, was welcomed into the arrival hall and a Thank You card was handed over by our Jaipur staff, said a statement from the airline. ....

A Jet Airways plane flying from Saudi Arabia to India had an unexpected guest today when a baby was born mid-flight.
Jet Airways 9W 569 took off from Dammam for Kochi at 2.55 am today and when an expectant mother travelling onboard went into labour the crew declared a medical emergency and diverted the flight to Mumbai. ....
