Cold-storage giant pays $26 million for Solon warehouse CoStar Lineage Logistics, a cold-storage giant based in Michigan, recently paid $26 million for this temperature-controlled warehouse at 6531 Cochran Road in Solon. A global operator of refrigerated warehouses has purchased Great Lakes Cold Storage, a homegrown Northeast Ohio company that employs roughly 250 people in Solon. Cuyahoga County records show that Lineage Logistics, a cold-storage behemoth based in Novi, Mich., on Jan. 30 paid $26 million for the Great Lakes Cold Storage building at 6531 Cochran Road. That real estate transaction was part of a larger deal that included Great Lakes workforce and a smaller warehouse in Cranberry Township, Pa., north of Pittsburgh. ....
