KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato, June 3 (PIA) Thirteen higher education institutions (HEIs) offering health-related programs in Region XII have been granted authority by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to conduct limited face-to-face classes for the Academic Year 2021 - 2022.
The Commission, through the CHED Regional Office XII, has approved the applications of some HEIs in the Region to conduct limited face-to-face classes for the new school year during the pandemic, after a series of ocular visits to assess their compliance to requirements under the Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) No. 2021 - 001 of CHED and the Department of Health (DOH) on the Guidelines on the Gradual Reopening of Campuses of Higher Education Institutions for Limited Face-to-Face Classes during the COVID-19 Pandemic. ....

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and his Lagos State counterpart, Babajide Sanwo-Olu have signed a pact on the establishment of the Lagos-Ogun Joint Development Commission.
In his words, Gov Abiodun maintained that the official launch of the Joint Development Commission will initiate and accelerate more projects necessary to aid the movement of people, goods and services, as well as increase industrialization along border communities, to ensure wholesome development of the two states.
Abiodun stressed that the Joint Development Commission would forge a common alliance between the two states, to tackle insecurity, sanitation, traffic and transportation, waste management, water supply, land use planning, infrastructure development and maintenance, urban renewal and slum upgrading. ....

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and his Lagos State governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (Mou), establishing the Lagos-Ogun Joint Development Commission for the socio-economic development of both states.
The commission, according to the two governors is a common alliance between the two states to jointly tackle issues bordering on security, sanitation, traffic and transportation, waste management, water supply, land use planning, infrastructure development and maintenance, urban renewal, and slum upgrading, among others.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, which took place at the Presidential Lodge, Ibara Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, the host Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun said, the commission was a manifestation of the desire of the two states to attain rapid socioeconomic development and address the ling ....
