Lansing, MI (WorkersCompensation.com) - As the state continues to prioritize worker safety and health, the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) inspected and issued COVID-19 emergency rule or general duty citations to 23 different workplaces with violations for failing to protect workers and take safety precautions. Most employers are complying with MIOSHA s Emergency Rules and are protecting employees, less than 5% of businesses investigated have received enforcement actions.
There are a variety of programs that businesses can use to ensure they can comply, stay open and ultimately stay safe. The MIOSHA Ambassador Program offers education and one-on-one guidance to help businesses understand regulations on workplace safety. LANSING The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspected and issued COVID-19 safety citations to 23 different workplaces with violations, the state announced Friday.
Twenty businesses were cited for COVID-19 emergency rules citations and three others were fined for general duty citations. Each citation carries a fine of up to $7,000.

LANSING, Mich. – The state of Michigan has issued more citations for several workplaces accused of failing to comply with health and safety protocols designed to protect employees.
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) reported Friday that 23 more workplaces in the state have been issued citations for violating COVID-19 emergency rules or general duty rules put in place to protect employees from contracting and spread COVID-19, and other hazards. ....
