10 Players Inducted in NLL Hall of Fame's Class of 2021

PHILADELPHIA, June 3, 2021 – The National Lacrosse League (@NLL), the largest and most successful professional lacrosse property in the world, today announced that 10 new members have been elected into the NLL Hall of Fame. Among the honorees are eight former players and two referees, under the Builders category.
The NLL Hall of Fame Class of 2021 presented by GAIT Lacrosse is as follows:
Colin Doyle played 19 seasons with Ontario, San Jose and Toronto. A six-time champion with Toronto (1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2005, & 2011), the forward was named the Championship Game MVP three times (1999, 2002, & 2005). He won the 1998 Rookie of the Year award and 2005 MVP award, and was an All-League First Team member four times and Second Team seven times. Doyle finished fourth all-time in goals (527), assists (857) and points (1,384) and tied for fifth all-time in games played (266). He was a two-time scoring champion (2005 & 2009). ....

Steinfeld Reflects on Founding MLL in Wake of PLL Merger

The story about Jake Steinfield standing on the SUNY Cortland sideline as a lacrosse midfielder in the rain and hail has been told before. It was 1977 and Steinfeld, a midfielder out of Long Island, made it clear he was not comfortable in that weather, and that was the moment he realized that lacrosse may not be for him.
So he left central New York and moved to Los Angeles. And that’s when and where he discovered what was for him: the world of fitness.
His passion and determination led to personal training jobs to prepare actors for roles, which helped form the foundation for his Body By Jake empire. Exercise videos and television shows made him a household name and by this time, lacrosse was well behind him. ....

IL Indoor is opening it up to you to vote in a tournament-style bracket to decide which of the team that have captured the NLL championship in the 21st century would win if they were all competing for the title of grand champion.
We have seeded the 20 winners. To do so, we looked at won/loss records, goals for and against differential, where they finished in their division and overall in the NLL, considered all the variables and ranked them from 1 to 20.
Today’s matchup put a fairly recent champ up against and old-school champ as the No. 6 seed Georgia Swarm from 2017 take on the No. 11 Philadelphia Wings from 2001. ....
