A boil water notice has been issued for Levi Water Supply customers in parts of McLennan County and Falls County after a major water line break.
The notice affects customers located in or on:
Levi Parkway
Customers in the affected area should follow these instructions:
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and ice making should be boiled and cooled. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling water, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from another suitable source for drinking or human consumption. ....

The ANZ Business Outlook survey for April shows that firms are feeling more upbeat and that recent housing market policy changes are not likely to dent broader activity, says ANZ chief economist Sharon Zollner.

In a 12-4 vote Thursday with one abstention, members of the Cellular, Tissue, and Gene Therapies Advisory Committee felt that, although this procedure will likely benefit only a select few patients, the benefits of possible insulin independence for them outweigh the risks that come with long-term immunosuppressive treatment.
The therapy s sponsor, CellTrans, explained that existing options are limited for the some 80,000 American adults estimated to have brittle type 1 diabetes a subset of type 1 characterized by a particularly refractory form of complete insulin deficiency where patients often have vast swings in blood glucose levels. ....

MARLIN, TX â The city of Marlin is under a boil water notice after routine maintenance was conducted on the Mesquite tower.
According to a release by the City, routine maintenance was conducted on SKID200 multiple membrane filters that needed to be pulled and re-pinned. This caused water levels to run low at the Mesquite tower.
The SKID did not pass the required weekly test, forcing the City of Marlin public water system to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption.
The City will issue a release once the boil water notice has been lifted. ....
