Fairfield woman loses mom, brother, uncle to Covid-19 in span of 3 weeks
FAIRFIELD Covid-19 has taken a toll on many families, including that of lifelong Fairfield resident Gina Keller Kaye, who lost three family members to the disease – her mother, brother and an uncle – within three weeks.
“The family just seems so different now,” she wrote in an email to the Daily Republic. “It’s going to take some getting used to.”
It started with Kaye’s 13-year-old nephew having flu-like symptoms. He was tested for Covid-19 and the result was negative, she wrote. ....
