GENESEO â The number of active COVID-19 cases decreased significantly since Friday in the GLOW region. A total of 319 cases were reported on Tuesday. That number marks a decrease of 83, compared to the 402 cases reported Friday. A total of 233 recoveries were reported, compared to 152 new cases. But the number of cases continued to rise at SUNY Geneseo. No coronavirus-related fatalities were reported by county health officials, though New York State data indicates one new death each in Genesee and Orleans counties. A total of 210 cases were reported, along with 232 recoveries. The rising numbers remain a concern for health care officials across the region.
