Four state Legislators covering parts of Park County signed on to a letter to Gov. Mark Gordon asking him to instruct the state attorney general to join Texas and at least 16 other states in suing four of the recent presidential election battleground states for allegedly running improper elections. The Supreme Court declined to hear the case, but not before the governor had a chance to respond. Gordon responded Thursday and said while he supported the lawsuit led by Texas, he was not directing Wyoming to join at the time. âI asked the Attorney General to look into the case and consider possible actions the State of Wyoming might take,â Gordon said Thursday in a release. âGeneral Hill did this, and after significant consideration we believe that the case could have unintended consequences relating to a constitutional principle that the State of Wyoming holds dear â that States are sovereign, free to govern themselves.â ....
