Organized by Carol Bousquet, the event featured some music by Tom Palance and prayers from Rev. Rebecca Pugh. The event, which was held at Town Wharf, was attended by around 40 people. Bousquet said the concept was borrowed from the blessing of the fleet and will be used to support the Ipswich River Watershed Association’s annual Paddle-a-thon on June 19. She said she hopes to make the blessing an annual event. ....
