The Moncton Wildcats will return to play after Public Health gave New Brunswickâs QMJHL teams the green light.
The announcement of the return to play follows a COVID-19 update on Friday that indicated a return to the yellow level could be on the way.
Due to border restrictions, teams can only play intraprovincial games, for the time being, meaning the Wildcats, Saint John Seadogs and AcadieâBathurst Titan will see a lot of each other.
âOnly playing two other teams is only going to make that rivalry more heated,â said Wildcats Director of Business Operations Josh Harris.

Syracuse, N.Y. - After 332 days, the Syracuse Crunch/Utica Comets rivalry has been renewed. On Saturday night the team’s kicked things off inside a cardboard cut-out and fan-less Upstate Medical University Arena for the first of a 14-game Galaxy Cup series.
Following a 3-2 win in Rochester in their season opener on Friday night, the Comets took on a hungry and high-intensified Syracuse Crunch in their home/season opener.
