Football for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) is heading to the city of Mobile this fall! The Ultimate HBCU Experience presented by the Gulf Coast Challenge will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 4:00 pm in Ladd-Peebles Stadium featuring the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University against the Bulldogs of Alabama A & M University. This dynamic matchup is sure to draw fans from near and far.
The head coaches of both schools express their excitement for this strong football contest. With Alabama A &M University returning for the third time, Director of Athletics Bryan Hicks said “We’re excited to continue being a part of the Gulf Coast Challenge. The city of Mobile has been great to work with, and we look forward to renewing our historic rivalry with Tuskegee University.” ....

Seminoles Prepare for Timuquana Collegiate


TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Fresh off a momentum-building win at the Camp Creek Seminole Invitational, Florida State Men’s Golf heads to the opposite coast in Ponte Vedra, Fla., as it prepares for the Timuquana Collegiate held at Timuquana Country Club on Jan. 25-26.
The 54-hole tournament will include 36 holes played on Monday and 18 holes in Tuesday’s final round. The event is co-hosted by UNF and Jacksonville, with the other participants including Florida, UCF, USF, Virginia, Notre Dame, Purdue, Oklahoma State and Liberty.
The Timuquana Collegiate is one of several in-state tournaments that Florida State fans have to watch their team. FSU will also play in Stuart (March 15-16), home in Tallahassee (Feb. 20-21), Ponte Vedra again (March 31-April 1) and Naples (April 4-6) during the regular season. ....
