After retiring two years ago, Vicki Vogel never thought her 40-plus years in sewing and design would lead her to making masks for the community. But when the pandemic hit, that s just what she knew, needed to be done. Vicki actually got a head-start on making masks for a healthcare friend in Pennsylvania. United Way Fox Cities: New CEO Peter Gianopolous leads by example

MENASHA - Peter Gianopolous has been volunteering and working with nonprofits in the Fox Valley since he moved to Neenah in 1980, when he was in high school.
He s done a variety of community work, from picking up trash to serving on boards for Children s Hospital Wisconsin, Fox Valley Symphony and United Way Fox Cities.
Gianopolous is eager to get even more involved as he takes on his new job as the United Way Fox Cities president and CEO.
As much as I ve given, I ve gotten back tenfold, he said. No word can describe that feeling. But I still have a lot to do, because I m still standing. ....
