Domestic violence often linked to mass shootings

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Investigators are expected to reveal more Tuesday about a mass shooting at a birthday party Sunday morning in Colorado Springs where a gunman killed six people before turning the gun on himself.
The shooting is the fourth deadliest in Colorado’s recent history. Police said the gunman shot and killed his girlfriend and five other adults inside the home. Children who we inside weren’t wounded in the shooting. ....
