Tractor trailer truck crash closes Lancaster County road

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Lancaster County road was closed this morning while emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer truck in East Cocalico Township.
The crash occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on the 300 block of Hahnstown Road, near Glenwood Drive, according to East Cocalico Township Police.
Several poles and wires were knocked to the ground by the crash.

35-year-old Wrightsville man accused of filming sex acts with 16-year-old Lebanon County girl

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A 35-year-old Wrightsville man has been charged with possession of child pornography and related offenses after police say he recorded himself having sex with a 16-year-old Lebanon County girl last year.
Joshua S. Gettle was living in East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County at the time of the alleged offenses in November 2020, police say.
According to East Cocalico Township Police, Gettle created and shared two videos of himself and the victim engaged in sexual activity. Authorities began investigating when they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, police say.

Teen killed in Lancaster County crash: police

A 17-year-old was killed in a Wednesday night crash in East Cocalico Township, police said.
Ephrata resident Jeremy Martin was driving on the 300 block of East Church Street around 10:45 p.m. when he veered off the highway and hit a large tree, police said.
Martin was pronounced dead by the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.
Police do not believe drugs and alcohol were contributing factors to the crash.

Police: Lancaster County man charged with sharing obscene photos of two people without consent

DENVER, Pa. — A 20-year-old Lancaster County man charged after allegedly sharing obscene photos of two people without their consent in connection to an incident in August is now in custody after a traffic stop this week, according to East Cocalico Township Police.
Caleb Werni, of Denver, was charged with two counts of obscene and other sexual materials and harassment after allegedly sharing photos of the victims without consent in early August, police say.
Police were unable to locate Werni at the time of the incident, so an arrest warrant was issued on the charges, according to police.
