As a result of this week’s winter storm, Windber Area School District opted for two virtual days instead of cancelling classes. “If we can keep that schedule and have consecutive days, that’s our plan,” said WASD Superintendent Joe Kimmel. Kimmel said letting students work from home will help keep them in a routine, and they won’t have to tack on school days to the end of the year.
