Quantum Reality — does mass exist?

Quantum Reality does mass exist?
Ever since the 1960s Double Slit Experiment, reality has not been the same

Ever since the 1960s Double Slit Experiment (DSE), reality has not been the same. The fact that single electrons shot through a setting of two slits, accumulatively made a wave-pattern on the screen, but when a beam of detector light was put across the slits, the wave function of the electrons collapsed and they behaved as particles again has led to two conclusions, one that particles have a dual particle/wave behaviour, and the other that electrons or quantum particles change their behaviour when they find an observer/detector in their settings. ....

The concept of occasionalism — from Imam Ghazali to the theory of Quantum mechanics

Daily Times
April 24, 2021
Occasionalism deals with the concept of causation. Simply put, the relationship between a cause and its effect. It determines the dependency of cause and effect on each other. If my hand moves a chair, is it the strength of my hand causing the movement? Is the firing of the neurons stimulating the muscle activity or is the thought process behind it? Or is it the molecules and atoms rearranging themselves to make this possible?
Occasionalism has far reaching implications in the philosophical and theological world. From Aristotle to Imam Ghazali, Gottfried Leibniz and Rene Descartes – this topic has perplexed the greatest minds. Although they are not subjects of this article- free will, determinism and morality are interconnected with occasionalism. This has been discussed in our article (https://dailytimes.com.pk/613922/free-will-and-determinism-a-philosophical-and-religious-perspective/). ....

BUZZ & The Portnoy Problem | ETF Trends

March 3, 2021
Five years ago, I met a really nice guy named Jamie Wise on the conference circuit. Wise had fascinating ideas about scraping public internet chatter about stocks to build an index that tries to ping stocks currently in favor with retail investors, using a bunch of AI and other carefully curated data sources.
I having run a fund that included a lot of thinking about this in the late ’90s that crashed and burned was skeptical. Jamie got a fund launched with Sprott as a partner (which we covered back in the day). The fund did okay but didn’t gain a lot of traction and closed in March 2019. Now it’s back in a new form with partner VanEck.  There’s real work here under the hood, and I have no beef with either the idea behind the index or VanEck jumping in. If anything, jumping into something fun and new is very on-brand for VanEck.
