The first of the day was Amanda Crowe.
Crowe is charged with vehicular homicide, vehicular assault
, DUI and other charges.
Court documents say in June 2020, Crowe was driving on Highway 79 in Carroll County and crossed over the center lane. She struck an oncoming car, killing Corey Douglas and seriously injuring a child.
Court documents say Crowe’s blood alcohol level was above the legal limit, and she was also under the influence of an intoxicant.
The judge set her court date for June 14.
Next was Jonathan Hendrix.
Hendrix is charged with attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated kidnapping, three counts of aggravated assault, and simple assault.

By the end of the day Monday, 37 tombstones and historical markers at downtown Pensacola s St. Michael s Cemetery were repaired and restored after sustaining varying amounts of damage during Hurricane Sally in September.
Monday marked a significant day in a restoration project that began in March and won t conclude for some time. As Escambia County s 200th anniversary approaches, University of West Florida historical archaeologist Margo Stringfield said the timing to fix some of the city s oldest, most historic markers was apt. The total amount of damage down here, I would say was in the vicinity of around $70,000, she said Monday morning, surrounded by contracted preservation specialists and fellow UWF assessors. The wind did most of the work. We did not have any big tree falls, but we did have big limbs fall.

A balanced scoring attack combined with a smothering defensive effort pushed VCU past Davidson, 64-52, in the Atlantic 10 Tournament semifinals on Saturday.
The win sets up a clash between top-seeded St. Bonaventure (15-4) and second-seeded VCU (19-6) in the A-10 Championship Game on Sunday, March 14 at 1 p.m. in Dayton.
The contest will be broadcast on CBS.
