Attendees will hear from directors and volunteers from the Community Volunteer Transportation Company, Home Healthcare Hospice and Community Services, and the Grapevine Family and Community Resource Center about volunteer opportunities and the impacts the local organizations have on senior citizens’ lives. Francestown is being prioritized right now because of a regional shortage of volunteer drivers, who assist people who are unable to drive themselves to appointments, organizer Sylvia von Aulock from the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission said.
