2 Nigerians held, drugs seized by CCB in Bengaluru

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], March 17 (ANI): The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of the Karnataka Police arrested two Nigerians for alleged drug peddling on Wednesday.
Two Nigerian nationals arrested in Bengaluru and seized drugs including ecstasy and LSD worth Rs 75 lakh from their possession, said CCB, Bengaluru City.
The CCB also seized ecstasy and Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) worth 75 lakh.
A case has been registered under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and Foreigners Act.
Further investigation is underway. (ANI) ....

CCB sleuths arrest two foreign nationals for drug-peddling
Bengaluru, Mar 17 (UNI) Continuing their war against drug menace, CCB sleuths have arrested two foreign nationals for indulging in drug peddling and seized from them Rs 65 lakhs worth of banned drugs during raids on their rented hideouts at two places in the City.
Police said on Wednesday that the arrested were identified as Joseph Ndukwe Okafor, Abuja Headquarters (local government) Enugu State, Nigeria and Uzochukwu Markmaurice Mbatuegwu, No 5, Obiora Street, Abakahiki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria.
During the raid on the hideout of Uzochukwu Mark Maurice Mb Atuegwu, in Amruthahalli Police station limits, Police seized Rs 50 lakhs worth drugs including 500 gram MDMA Ecstasy Tablets, 56 LSD Strips, Cash Rs 5000, three mobile phones and one car. ....

Cash-starved NCPB faces auction over Sh7.3 billion debt

Currently, the total interest charged stands at Sh3.1 billion.
“It was worth noting that the total loan exposure is Sh7.3 billion – Sh6.38 billion unserviced KCB facility and Sh1.0 billion being the interest charges paid from NCPB resources which is reimbursable,” he explained.

He said due to the failure to pay the loan, KCB recalled the entire loan facility in March last year, overdrawing the NCBP operating accounts held with the bank.
He said this action blocked NCPB from accessing banking services from KCB, which is its main banker. ....

Kenyan coach Baraza leaves Biashara United for Kagera Sugar
