CROOKSVILLE, Ohio- The Crooksville Police Department held a surprise party at Village Park in Crooksville Saturday for their current police chief who is retiring after 37 years of service. 
Rodney Walters has been with the Crooksville Police Department for 37 years and is retiring after having served as the Police Chief. Walters had a very humanitarian approach to law enforcement and saw his job as not to punish people but to make the community’s life easier.  ....
