Lexington Homes Opens Two Decorated Luxury Single-Family Home Models at Parkside of Glenview

Chicago-based Lexington Homes has opened two decorated models at Parkside of Glenview, a new community of 29 single-family homes in north-suburban Glenview, Ill. All homes at the maintenance-free community include first-floor primary suites.
The maintenance-free community, located near the intersection of Willow and Landwehr roads, offers four floor plans, including three designs with a two-story layout and one ranch plan. Each home offers a choice of exterior architectural styles, including Craftsman, European, Farmhouse and Shingle. Base-priced from $894,990, homes measure 2,663 to 3,676 square feet and have three bedrooms, 2Â½ baths, a flex room, patio, basement and attached front-loading two-car garage. Select two-story plans also include a loft and study, and a fourth bedroom also can be added to each home. ....

IHSA reduce summer contact days, set spring State Finals, hear recommendation to update mask requirements

The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Board of Directors met for its regularly scheduled meeting, which included both virtual and in-person attendance, on Monday, April 12, 2021, where the Board took action on several items, including a reduction in contact days this summer, a three-year membership assessment plan to aid in the IHSA’s economic recovery, and setting several spring State Final dates.
In addition, the Board announced updates from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) regarding masks for students competing in low-risk outdoor sports and activities.
Students competing in low-risk outdoor sports and activities are no longer required to wear masks while competing. In-season IHSA sports and activities impacted by this update include bass fishing, baseball, softball, tennis, and track & field. Students must continue to wear masks in these sports and activities when they are not actively competing (i.e. athletes on the bench). ....
