MALCOLM Cannon, who is credited with helping turn the Hunter wellie from farmyard wear into a major fashion brand, has become a senior member of the management team at upmarket residential property specialist Simpson & Marwick.
Mr Cannon has been appointed managing director property services with Simpson & Marwick in Edinburgh after a career which has seen him lead a range of organisations through periods of change.
He joins Simpson & Marwick following a 15-month spell as Scotland director of the Institute of Directors business organisation.
Mr Cannon, 58, previously completed a four-year term in charge of Cricket Scotland after leading ESPC (Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre) through the recession triggered by the 2008 financial crisis He ran Hunter Boot from 2006 to 2008. ....
