Xfinity Internet Speed to Increase this Week for Some Customers in Edmonds (Comcast Washington)
Starting this Thursday, Comcast s Gigabit Internet customers will experience a speed increase from 1G to 1.2G. The company is also increasing download speeds for Performance Starter+ from 25Mbps to 50Mbps to maintain speed superiority and support customers who are working and learning remotely. In addition, upload speed will be going from 3Mbps to 5Mbps. This change will go into effect April 22 for both new and existing Performance Starter+ and Gigabit Internet customers in Washington.
Now customers will be able to take advantage of advanced WiFi technology that is capable of delivering speeds faster than one Gigabit per second (Gbps) to support the ever-increasing number of connected devices in their homes.
