Time for impunity is over. This was the stern warning sent by Mxolisi Dukwana as the newly installed ANC Free State interim provincial committee (IPC) takes the reigns.
The structure, led by pro-Ramaphosa loyalists, officially took over the province this week after the disbandment of the provincial executive committee (PEC). It held its first meeting on Monday and Tuesday.
They take over a province marred by allegations of corruption, maladministration and failing service delivery at municipalities, as well political divisions. ....

MUSCAT: The Sultanate, represented by Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC), took part in the 17th general assembly meetings of the Arab network for national human rights institutions.
Shaikh Abdullah Shuwain al Hosni, Chairman of the OHRC, represented the Omani institution at the meetings, which were held via videoconferencing in the presence of representatives of the ESCWA (Economic and Social Commission for West Asia), the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the UNDP (United Nations Development Program).
The OHRC, represented by Al Mu athir Ahmed al Siyabi, was chosen as a member of the panel tasked with drafting meetings of the Arab Network. ....

NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – Deputy Senate Chairman Askar Shakirov and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights for Central Asia Richard Komenda held a meeting to discuss prospects for cooperation, Kazinform cites the press service of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament.
