Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Native Registered Tourist Guide Association (PBB) jointly with the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) Sabah Chapter collected 100 pints of blood for the blood bank of Queen Elizabeth Hospital 2.

The programme was held at MRCS premises off Jalan Tuaran where PBB members and the public had turned up.
PBB President Abdul Latif Abd Majif said the idea was mooted by MRCS who noted that PBB had about 600 registered members.
“I told myself it would be great if we can get at least 10 per cent of our members to come,” said Abdul Latif who was delighted to see they had surpassed the target. ....

Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur supports medical frontliners in Sabah

The Catholic Doctors Association of Malaysia (CDAM) and its Sabah Chapter, led by its chairman, Dr Michael Raj, handed over a donation of personal protective equipment (PPE) for frontline healthcare workers in Sabah.
The contribution was received Dec 14, by the Sabah State Health Department Director, Datuk Dr Christina Rundi. 
The generous contribution was made possible through the direct donation from the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur, with blessings from Archbishop Julian Leow.
The PPEs donated include N95 masks, nitrile gloves as well as protective cover all gowns with boot covers worth RM 29,976.00.
They will be distributed to health facilities throughout Sabah, where the number of COVID-19 cases are still at a high. ....
