Woman who fell 80ft to her death days after revenge porn threat 'may have been pushed'

A woman who fell 80ft to her death days after her boyfriend threatened to destroy her with a revenge porn video may have been pushed, a coroner was told today. 
Damilya Jossipalenya, 24, died on June 3, 2017, a week after her then boyfriend Alessio Bianchi had threatened to send embarrassing intimate videos of her to her family.
But CCTV near her London apartment block shows Ms Jossipalenya falling like a brick , said Assistant Coroner Bernard Richmond QC.
He added that she had written a suicide note to her Kazakh parents in very poor English .
A seven-day jury inquest into what happened is now fixed for July 7, just over four years after her death, a pre-inquest review heard today. ....

Oxford Food and Wine has had its licence revoked
A shop on Oxford Road has lost its licence to sell booze after repeatedly buying alcohol that had been stolen from supermarkets.
The council revoked the licence of Oxford Food and Wine, on 512 Oxford Road, today (Tuesday, March 16) after shop staff were caught buying stolen alcohol from a known shoplifter and drug user on 16 occasions.
Reading Borough Council’s (RBC) Licensing committee made the decision after receiving and hearing evidence from the police, the council’s licensing team and the shop owner.
Shop owner Thinesh Sinniah was arrested by police officers after they visited his shop to investigate and found 84 stolen bottles of alcohol in the stock room on January 11. ....

Tesco fined £30,000 after worker crushed by cage of juice cartons

TESCO has been slapped with a £300,000 fine after a worker at an Oxford store was crushed under a roll cage full of juice cartons.
Piotr Grzela was unloading a lorry outside the Tesco Metro on Magdalen Street in the early hours of February 13, 2018, when the cage toppled over onto him and crushed him against the pavement.
He suffered two severe open fractures in his legs, severed blood vessels and a fracture to his wrist.
Tesco admitted two charges related to breaches of health and safety.
Yesterday, the supermarket appeared at Reading Magistrates Court, where a district judge handed out the hefty fine, and said there had been a ‘failure of delivery procedures at every level’ on the night of the accident. ....
