May 27, 2021 The virtual version of the Duluth 4-H Puzzle Derby took place the week of May 14-22. There were 196 teams competing in the Derby, from 24 states including Washington DC. The Remote Derby is sponsored by Minnesota puzzle makers PuzzleTwist. PuzzleTwist has been a long time sponsor of the in-person Puzzle Derby. This year s puzzle artwork was created by Duluth artist SJ (Samantha) Nielsen. Her work is well loved by St. Louis County residents and visitors. The Remote Derby raised almost $1000 for 4-H. (WAFF) - Engineers, building inspectors and architects were busy Wednesday, April 28th at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. Thatâs because an outdoor roof at Propst Arena collapsed yesterday. The portion of the arena that collapsed was an addition built in 2010. It took less than 10 seconds for damage to be done.
