Beachwood now offering residents a free ‘COVID Care Package’

BEACHWOOD, Ohio The city has, to date, supported its residents with COVID-19 relief in the form of fee masks; the delivery of prepaid grocery and pharmacy needs to those who are disabled and homebound; weekly senior wellness phone calls; and, through its Beachwood Delivers program, the free delivery of food from its restaurants to residents.
But, as it turns out, another form of aid is on the way. The city is now offering to Beachwood households that are stretched to the limit a “COVID Care Package.” Residents who are experiencing financial difficulties will be able to pick up, at no cost, a package that includes cleaning supplies needed to combat COVID-19, and a little something to eat. ....
