Anambra community sends SOS to Obiano, FG over land dispute

The people of Ibughubu Umuchu Community in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State have cried out over the looming land boundary crisis between the community and the neighbouring Ugwunano Umunze clan.
The Anambra Community appealed to the Government of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Willie Obiano to come to their aid, adding that the boundary issue if not resolved could cause wanton destruction of lives and property.
The people of Ibughubu Umuchu clan made the appeal in a statement by the Chairman of the Community’s Vigilante Group, Mr. Ralph Njirika and forwarded to DAILY POST on Friday. ....

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - The Jonesboro Public Schools
The task force has a total of 50 members, which are broken down into four subcommittees.
Of these groups, each has a specific task: Recruitment and Retention, Staff and Community Awareness, Parent and Student Voice, and Curriculum and Instruction.
Superintendent Dr. Kim Wilbanks said each group is comprised of different people. Building administrators, teachers, aids, school board members, parents, and community members work together in each group.
“I’ve been really pleased,” she said. “One of the goals of this group is this is an action, not a discussion. This task force, we want to put some different activities into play or action into place.” ....
