The Basketball Africa League (BAL) has unveiled its broadcast partners ahead of its debut season, with the competition set to reach fans in 215 countries and territories in 15 languages.
BAL, a 12-team joint venture between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the International Basketball Federation (Fiba), will be broadcast by Canal+ and ESPN, which will air all 26 games across Francophone and Anglophone countries and territories in sub-Saharan Africa. Canal+ will also produce and distribute original ancillary programming, including weekly magazine show ‘BAL Action’. ....

TIGHTER measures are expected in Clark as it was chosen to host another major sports event, following the announcement of the International Basketball Federation (Fiba) to hold here the third and last window of the Asia Cup qualifiers next year.

The International Basketball Federation (Fiba) has unveiled a global partnership with mobile services provider Smart Communications.
The four-year deal, which was announced on Thursday during a virtual press conference, grants the Philippines-based company exclusivity in Fiba’s telecommunications category until 31st December 2023.
The contract, brokered by Fiba Marketing, the strategic partnership between the global governing body and the Infront agency, includes commercial rights across all Fiba competitions, including the 2023 Basketball World Cup, which the ....
