Hispanic immigrants of working age 20 to 54 years old are over 11 times more likely to die of COVID-19 than U.S.-born men and women who are not Hispanic, according to a USC study of California death certificate data from 2020.

USC, LA County Public Health Team Up To Study COVID's Impact

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The University of Southern California announced today that it has teamed up with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health for a study to use antibody testing to follow 2,000 county households and improve understanding of social inequities exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“This partnership between the Department of Public Health and USC will help us get a more complete and accurate picture of the pandemic in L.A.
