Tehachapi-wide blood drive to be held Dec. 18

TEHACHAPI, Calif. — On Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Houchin Community Blood Bank will be working with the City of Tehachapi and the Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District on a Tehachapi-wide blood drive.
All blood donations made to HCBB remain in Kern County for residents.
All who donate will receive a free “No Pandemic Can Stop Us” t-shirt and also an entrée to win a $500 gift card.
“This is our final blood drive for 2020, the reservation website has been having some problems so we are asking walk-ins to help fill the drive. Fill out the donor questionnaire at HCBB.com before you arrive and either print it or screenshot the barcode and bring that with you to save some time,” said Key Budge Community engagement specialist for the City of Tehachapi and the event coordinator. ....
