EAST HARTFORD A local man was sentenced Wednesday to more than 11 years in federal prison for his role in narcotics trafficking in Hartford’s South End, prosecutors said.
Jimmy “Cuz-o” Flores, 37, was sentenced by Judge Vanessa L. Bryant in Hartford to 136 months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release.
He pleaded guilty on March 12, 2020, to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl and 28 grams or more of cocaine base, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. ....

HARTFORD A member of the Latin Kings gang operating out of the Hartford area was sentenced this week to more than seven years in prison on drug and gun charges, according to federal prosecutors.
Judge Kari A. Dooley sentenced Jason “Hood” Figueroa, 31, to 87 months in prison during a video conference hearing on Wednesday due to the ongoing pandemic. Dooley also sentenced Figueroa’s prison term to be followed by three years of supervised release.
On Nov. 23, 2020, Figueroa also known as “Hoodie” pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of crack and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. ....
