The centerpiece fountain, which has been out of order in the Southlake shopping center since its debut in 2015, was approved for a zoning change by city council in November. Now, the governing body is considering options for further beautification. A front-runner for the site, which will now include a smaller fountain as well as an activity lawn to be finished by early summer, is a commissioned sculpture that would honor the location that was once an airport. ....
