Oyo governor lists 128.5km road projects, others for commissioning in 2021

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde said at least seven road projects, totalling 128.5 kilometres, which were flagged off by his administration in 2020, will be completed and commissioned this year as he reassured the people that he will continue to put their interest first.
He gave the assurance in his address during an inter-faith service to usher in the new year 2021 for civil and public servants in the state, which was organised by Office of the Head of Service in the state and was held on Wednesday at the state secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.

GOVERNOR Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Tuesday, expressed worry that bandits from Mali are making efforts to get into Nigeria through the Saki international border.
Makinde said this during a visit to the palace of the Okere of Saki, Oba Khalid Olabisi, where he met with traditional rulers from Oke Ogun Zone.
He noted that various parts of the state and the country will be at risk of attacks if such foreign bandits are allowed entry, Makinde called for vigilance from Saki residents to debar such entry via the Saki border. ....

Oyo State governor, Mr Seyi Makinde, has said the state is also faced with the issue of banditry, going by constant efforts by bandits from Mali to get into Nigeria through the Saki international border.

The Governor of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Mankide, has said that bandits from Mali are trying to enter the country through a border in the state.
Mr Makinde, who spoke during a visit to the Oke Ogun area of the state, maintained that bandits from Mali were trying to cross in through Saki, a town in the state.
The governor made this disclosure during a visit to the palace of the Okere of Saki, Khalid Olabisi, where he met with traditional rulers from Oke Ogun Zone.
