Opportunity to support local with restaurant weeks

As more people begin to venture out, the Superior-Douglas County Area Chamber of Commerce hopes they eat local.
And this week, there are incentives. It s Restaurant Week, featuring 13 local establishments. But this year, it wasn t just for chamber members.
We have opened it up to all businesses in Superior and Douglas County this year that are willing to participate, Superior Director of Marketing Nikky Farmakes said. It s just a wonderful way to get someone in your door, to see what our wonderful restaurants have to offer.
Restaurant Week runs through Sunday, April 25 in Superior.

Thoughts: Tacos Tacos Tacos leads with the house special for its Eat Downtown debut, and it’s clear why.
The dish comes with four tacos encased in two corn tortillas each, with a modest layer of tan, Jalisco style, rotisserie-cooked pork, diced onion and torn cilantro perfect proportions for a street taco, made for moving with you.
And, everything seems chopped with care here, in small bits for a nice distribution of goods in each bite.

There has been a demand, among fans of a certain Louisiana-style pop-up restaurant working out of the kitchen at Zeitgeist Arts Cafe, to bring out the beignets.

The University of Minnesota Duluth s Department of Art & Design presents its annual student show online. There are 77 works by 52 students on display, and the website was designed by students, too. Themes include politics, staying at home, baking cakes, taking a bath when combined, the works provide a nice snapshot of a school year in quarantine.
