Man suffers serious injuries after car collides with tree on A616 at Kneesall

Police are appealing for information after a man suffered serious injuries following an incident on the A616.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called to the A616 at Kneesall at around 4.15pm yesterday (Wednesday, December 9) as a man suffered serious injuries after a car collided with a tree.

The driver was taken to the Queen s Medical Centre with suspected life-altering injuries.
Detective Sergeant Mark Baker, from the serious collision investigation unit, said: We closed the road until around 2am this morning to allow for our thorough enquiries to take place. ....
