Shirley May Williams, 34, pleaded guilty in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Friday to driving over the general alcohol limit without a licence, driving while disqualified by court and driving an unregistered vehicle. On March 28 police from Mount Morgan, near Rockhampton, were patrolling after being alerted to an unlicensed driver who was under the influence of alcohol. At 5pm that afternoon they pulled over a car on Porters Rd at Baree which was being driven by Williams. ....

Jake Timothy Whiteley pleaded guilty in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Monday to one count of assault occasioning bodily harm. The court heard the victim was at a Caltex petrol station at Agnes Water on April 6 where he was approached by Whiteley while walking back to his car. The pair were known to each other. Whiteley punched the victim to his right eye causing him to fall and sustain bruising and scratches to his elbows and knees as well as a cut and black eye. ....

Walter Thomas Godfrey, 36, pleaded guilty in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Monday to one count of entering a premises and committing an indictable offence and three counts of fraud. The court heard Godfrey was âloiteringâ in the carpark of the Hinkler Shopping Centre at midday on Thursday where he saw the victim approach her car. He then walked past her and waited against a wall while the victim unlocked her car and wound down windows to let out hot air. ....
Falealea Fia pleaded guilty in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Thursday one count of assault occasioning bodily harm. The court heard the victim was walking home from a Childers hotel just after midnight on September 6. The victim and Fia were both involved in a fight in the middle of the street. Fia continued assaulting the victim when he was on the ground and couldn t defend himself. The victim sustained injuries including a broken nose and a chipped tooth. Police prosecutor Sergeant Dean Burgess told the court Fia had no criminal history to tender. Fia s barrister Craig Ryan told the court his client was a Tongan national who had been in Australia on a migrant farm work visa program. ....
