Initial restoration of Cull Drain Bridge hoped to kick off fundraising

Framework prepared by staff to allow the Friends of the Cull Drain Bridge to complete restoration work has been accepted by council.
The group plans to restore the four end posts as a way to “kick off” their fundraising efforts to fully restore the bridge.
The span has been sitting in Mike Weir Park with a fence around it since it was removed in 2014.
It’s hoped $25,000 can be raised for phase one of the restoration. ....

While the difficulties of the pandemic remain front and centre for many in our communities, I hope you and your loved ones have been able to connect in a safe manner, and enjoy the first days of spring.
