Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park plans 3 concert series this summer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. â Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is planning for the return of live music this summer with three series featuring musicians from the Grand Rapids Symphony and West Michigan.
They include âFifth Third Bank Summer Concerts at Meijer Gardens,â âTuesday Evening Music Clubâ and the âJim & Marie Preston Sunday Strings,â according to a news release Thursday.
All dates, performers and information are subject to change based on COVID-19 restrictions.
âWe are very excited to bring the Grand Rapids Symphony back to Meijer Gardens for these special concerts,â said Mary Tuuk Kuras, president and CEO of the Grand Rapids Symphony. âOur shared mission of promoting the arts and bringing our community together makes this partnership a wonderful fit.â

GRAND RAPIDS, MI O.A.R., Kansas and The Verve Pipe are among the groups tentatively scheduled for the Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts at Meijer Gardens series this summer.
The groups were announced Thursday, April 29 by Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, with the caveat that all shows are subject to change because of coronavirus restrictions.
