Colonero’s career with Salmon started with Danny Salmon. 
“I knew Danny because we both grew up in the Blackstone Valley; we would run into each other playing tennis and at other events,” Colonero said. At a baseball tournament for both Colonero and Salmon’s sons, “We started talking, and Danny mentioned that if I was ever looking for a job, that I should reach out to him.”
From there, Colonero’s expansive career with Salmon began.
“My first position at Salmon was as a controller, more commonly known as a financial officer, in 1992,” Colonero said. “My office was in Beaumont at Westborough, and at that time, we only had two campuses Westborough and Northbridge.” ....

Residents and staff at Salmon Health and Retirement’s Beaumont at Northborough campus, 238 West Main St., Northborough, will receive their first round of the FDA-approved Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 3.
The COVID-19 vaccine is the best defense against COVID-19, leading to less potential spread among those in the Beaumont Northborough community but also in greater Northborough and beyond.
Executive Director Ed Murphy, essential staff and residents will be in attendance.
Participants must wear a surgical mask, have their temperature taken and fill out a set of questions.

The Food and Drug Administration Friday night approved the first COVID-19 vaccine in the United States for emergency use, clearing the way for the first Massachusetts residents to receive inoculations as soon as Tuesday, as hospitals and senior care facilities say they can begin immunizing staff and residents within hours of receiving their shipments of the precious cargo. ....
