The man found guilty of ordering the revenge execution of teenager Brayden Dillon privately accused notorious underworld figure Bassam Hamzy of setting him up and threatened to expose his alleged role in the murder.
In an emotional 10-page letter addressed to Goulburn Supermax inmate Hamzy on September 25 this year, Abdul Abu-Mahmoud said Hamzy had masterminded a perfect plot to frame him for the April 2017 murder, expressing his anger after years of fealty to the Brothers for Life founder, who continues to wield influence from prison.
