PEAKS ISLAND – Robert Gardner Tiffany, passed away peacefully of complications due to cardiac disease on May 5, 2021.
He is survived by his two sons, Sean Tiffany of Boulder, Colo., and Josh Tiffany of Gray, by his daughters-in-law Monika (Sean) and Heather (Josh); his grandson, James Robert (Sean), and the “Hawaii Family,” all of whom will cherish him forever.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years Julia “Jill” Churchill Tiffany.
Born and raised in Hopedale, Mass., Rob was a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut and a Marine Corps reservist. While working in public health in New York City after college, Rob met a young lady named Jill and they fell in love. After marrying in 1969, they moved to Connecticut and then Maine, ....
