TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - An Apache Junction police officer is now stable after being shot while chasing a suspected stolen vehicle on Tuesday, Mar. 16.
Cpl. Marshall Harshman with the Apache Junction Police Department said the officer has been identified as Officer Brian Brugman.
According to law enforcement, Brugman was among officers pursuing a suspected stolen truck wanted in connection to a vehicle theft at a Bank of America a few days ago. When officers tried to stop the truck and the driver tried to ram the officers several times, Harshman said. ....
